Kinda stereotypical for a character and in design, but at least she isn't really adamant and hard to chip out. She had a drifting friendship with Mae in the past, but the spark is back again in this game's storyline. Bea is just simply coping up the death of her mother, is a depressed croc, and is rather an intelligent one than she looks. Yet even if these two make a pretty stable relationship, these two still have problems.įirst time seeing Bea, I thought she would be a bad influence on Mae. That is both technically true, it did happen in the gameplay. Angus looks like the guy who'd bake stuff for you, and the one who'd read books for you. I never really liked Nick Wilde for being an asshole, nor Viktor for being a narcissistic cunt, yet I still liked them anyways. I say the same to every other fox, but I'm being honest, I like Gregg for being Gregg. To be honest here, Gregg is one of my most favorite characters in the game, not because he's a fox(I still don't see him as that much.), because that I like his personality. For now, let's not talk about the gay, because apparently now it's natural, and it's fine. (If you're a homophobe get out now pliz) Gregg(the fox) is Mae's best friend, Angus(the bear) eventually became closer friends with Mae in the game's story. Some of you may be thinkin', "Oh they're just best friends right?", wrong, they are in a relationship, a gay relationship. She has friends that take part of her story mostly, Gregg and Angus. She can be quirky like me, even as a grown adult. She was dropped out of college and returned back to her hometown as she wanted it to be, now hanging out with some of her ol' buddies in the town Possum Springs. Anger issued and a mischievous lil' girl. Some of you may be thinking, "oh wow she looks kinda creepy", well ironically, she refers to herself to have Nightmare eyes in the game. I've seen plenty of non-devious cute-looking anthro cat protagonists before, but Mae seems to be unique out of the bunch I've seen. The main character you're playing as is the black cat, Mae. This is not accurate, and it may contain spoilers, so watch your head. For now, I'll introduce to you the characters and give a brief background of the story by start. This game gives me all coincidences I have in mind, but I'll talk about that later. Not much violence or blood, but there are inappropriate linguistics, drunk scenes, cigars and uh.some disfigured bodies. Also Satanic cults and crimes. But this game talks about things, personal truths, and unsolved things in reality, and that's what makes it good. If you love mystery, want to uncover gems that you may have yet to reach with people in real life, and or appreciate furries, then this is the game for you. Some conversations between characters can get boring, but it seems as realistic as Bojack Horseman admittedly. But because of it's diversity on tasks, you can get lost and have no idea which to head to first.
I like how you get to do a day with things to do in any order you want, and you get to write/draw a journal about every "achievement" and secret you get and experience in the story. There are more than 3 endings that you can get. There's a whole lot to explore here more than Undertale I believe. Let's not forget characters that us teenagers and adults can relate to in real life. In fact, I'm listening to the OSTs right now while typing this. It's not just the graceful art style that amuses me, it's also it's music how it's simple and gives the atmosphere to each area of the game. Boy oh boy.I haven't done a personal review in a LOOOOOOONG time.Īnyways, I found myself a remarkable indie RPG game that was recently released last month.Ītta girl Pansear, back to the furries again.
